Merle Smith

I've been in education for over 30 years, the last 25 in administration. I worked in Colorado two different times, always coming back home to Wyoming. My family and I have lived in Cheyenne since 2001. When I was a school principal I had to laugh many times while disciplining students thinking to myself, "been there, done that."

The older I get the quicker time passes. Funny how that happens.

I'd love to take back the many mean things I did to people during high school. Unfortunately I can't do that so hoping they've forgiven me.

I remember going out one night with Dave Smith and a couple of other guys. We ended up throwing eggs at cars and getting caught. Dave's Dad came down to the Police Station and claimed me as his son so I wouldn't have to call my parents.
