Bob and I used to drink a lot of beer,PBR so no one would ask for one, haha, while discussing life and girls. We spent more time driving up and down main street than do anything else. Through careful thought and vigorous debate we made the following decision, "only the good die young", he must have been damn good because he was sure young when he died. He was a good loyal friend and I would rather he have not left so soon. He an I enjoyed a lot of life together in my Javelin, his moms toyota station wagon,Curt Pinder's 69 camaro and his '72' chevy short bed pickup truck. He also bought my dad's 54 dodge pickup and was trying to fix it up. Man would I love to have that truck back. He was a good man and I am told a great father as well as on hell of an electrician. By the way, Bob and I always had a great time at the Miner's Club in Decker Montana, the beer was cheap, the pool was fun and we were of legal age in Montana at that time. I believe that there was more than one road trip with fairly large numbers that visited the Miner's Club. Cheers to you Bob!!!
After being in a car accident my sophomore year, Bob was the first one to come to my house to check on me when I got out of the hospital. I remember he drove me up and down Mainstreet a few times to get me out of the house. I was soooo grateful! Bob was always a good friend and I think of him often. Miss ya Rowdy!!!
this is really tough for me, Bob and I were like brother's and spent so much time together.
Ron has many good memories of main street and Decker as we all do, Bob, Curt Pinder,Donny and myself all had many, many good times. It has taken me this long to write anything about this as I still think about him alot, I still leave him a golf ball and tee every once in while as he had a tendency to loose one now and again. I have too many memories of him to pick a favorite because they were all good. Some day he and I will play golf again and cruise main in the old "white ghost". So much more to say but don't need to, we all know he would do anything for us and we the same for him. Missing a great pal and brother.
