I am not smart enough to have solved any of those riddles. I must have had bad teachers.

Toni Marosok

Yes, let's blame it on the teachers... I couldn't figure them out either and I'm pretty sure that we had the same teachers???

Hello SHS Class of 1978. I just wanted to let all of you know that back on July 20 my sister and I were woken up in the very early hours of the morning around 12:30 a.m. because of a fire that hit our apartment. The security at our aparment came through ou or apartment building and told everyone to get out because of the fire. I got my sister up and we got out as quickly as possible. Because of the quick work of our apartment security everyone got out and no lives were lost. What we did not realize until later, the time my sister and I had to get out was very marginal because or apartment received the heaviest damage. Our entire kitchen floor collasped along with the floor in the enterance to the apartment and hall way collasped so we are very fortunate to get out when we did. Three weeks has passed since the fire and we have not been allowed back into our apartment to get what items we might be able to salvage due to the hole that is in our apartment. I have not seen the damage but until they build a wall and floor that is stable the fire marshall is our not allowing any one back in until it is safe. We do have a new apartment but until it is safe to back in our old apartment all we can do is just wait. We are still receiving mail at our old address. I know that it is three weeks since the fire but I am just now able to find access to computer to let you know what happened because what one of the things we did lose in the fire was our computer. Since the fire all of our friends and co workers at my job have been so helpful giving us items such as clothes and food to help us get started. We just recently got a couch this past Saturday. We are so grateful for what everyone has done to help us but at the same time it has been very difficult to realize what we have been through and to see tenants who live right down from you who are able to get their belongings out and yet we can't because of how severe our apartment was damaged. This is not how I wanted to write to all of you but I figured this was the best way for me to inform all of you that my sister and I are okay instead of hearing what might have happened another way. They are saying it could be two months before we can get into apartment to retrieve any of our belongings. We have been assured that there was very little water damage to our apartment mostly smoke damage. I have been told everthing in our bedrooms is okay so I am hoping we might be able to salvage some of our clothes and we are hoping some pictures of back home survived as well. My sister and I are very blessed to be very much alive. Material possesions can be replaced but a human life can not. I just wanted to tell what happened because even though I may not have known a lot of you many during our days at SHS, we all graduated together. I hope to I have the funds available to purchase a new computer in the future so I might be able to get back in contact with some of you. I know I got in touch with Kevin Fuller recently and I am still hopeful that the two of us can still get together since Franklin, Tennessee and Birmingham are three hours apart. We have mentioned to about going to a Vanderbilt basketball game this next college basketball season. I just joined the web site back in May and looking at many of profiles, it seems everyone has done well for themselves since we all graduated back in 1978. I think the class web site has been great and I hope to get in touch with many of you. Any how take care everyone and I hope you will keep my sister and I in your thoughts and prayers and as soon as I know more I will give you an udate. God Bless all of you...........Sincerely,
BG

Hi Everyone-----I finally have some GOOD NEWS TO REPORT !!!!!!!. After almost two months since our apartment fire back on July 20, we have finally been able to recover and go through what belongings the management of our apartment complex was able to get out of our old apartment and we now have everything in our new place. Everything was removed from our old apartment back on August 26. I had to rent a storage pod which all our belongings were placed in on August 28 and when I had the chance to after work to go through and discard items which we could not salvage and keep everything that we could. I finally completed getting everything out of our storage pod yesterday (September 16) while I am taking a weeks vacation from my job this week. I thought it was going to take me the entire month to get everything done but I am pleased I finished everything as quickly as I did. The main thing thing is after almost two months since the fire, this ordeal is finally over and now my sister and I can make our new place the way we want it. We did lose a lot of our belongings but we we able to keep several things though. The most important thing is that my sister and I got out safely. Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. My sister and I really do appreciate it very much. I miss all of you. I very much like the idea of a 35th reunion and I am going to try the best I can to make it back to Sheridan in a few years time. I have updated my profile with my new address in case any of you want to write back. I don't have my computer at home up and running yet but I hope to real soon so I can get back in touch with all of you on a regular basis. I am using a computer at a public library until then. Take care all of you and I hope to be in touch with you real soon.

I just wanted to say a quick hello and hope all of you are doing well. I finally have my computer back online so I can start getting back in touch. My sister and I are doing fine and we are slowly getting our new place the way we like it. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. After a busy week at work, I'm just taking it easy and listening to the Wyoming game right now on the internet. I look forward to coming home sometime soon and getting together with all of you. I'm just glad this ordeal is over with but it is something my sister and I will not soon forget. Hope to talk to some of you soon.

Bill, Happy to hear that you finally got many of your belongings!!! You found a nice place and are settled again, makes you feel better doesn't it?
Sorry, I haven't kept up-was recovering from a neck fusion and raising a doberman puppy for 2 months while recouping, that made it better. Now I am worried what is going on with him Dubai where he was suppose to be at the family compund and I am unable to find out if he has gotten there yet and not on the farm in a kennel alone.. I fell in love with a job-wrong.. couldn't help it though-he was the sweetest pup and oh so smart!!
Anyway, looking forward to talking back and forth. I don't think they will let us put our email addresses on here? so, will find a different way-or just this for now.
Take good care,Toni
and for everyone else. How about a BD celebrae this week??? Let me know-Tuesday or Wednesday night?? Or we can do it the week after. but not next weekend, I will be petsitting in Billings......

I just heard from Bill Graham and he asked that I let everyone know he and his sister are good and have managed to stay out of the way of the tornadoes that are hitting the south.  Prayers are with all in the south...

Hope everyone is doing well...  My oldest turned 30 today and I think I am way more freaked out about her turning 30 than me turning 50 last year...  seriously, how can I be old enough (or mature enough) to have a 30 year old daughter!?!?!?  LMAO...

It has been awhile since any activity has taken place on our website - so any suggestions to get he ball rolling again let me know...

Take care,
Kathi

Helllo and Happy New Year Everyone....

OK, so it will be our 40th this year.. I offered to have a get together at my house in town, not far from downtown. Instead of the usual.... going to the bar and many don't golf.  and Many don't have the $ to go to a restaurant.    BBQ and cocktails, mocktails etc...

If anyone is interested in this please give some input so we can start getting it together...

Any better ideas???

Kathi is too  busy, Jerry moved and Chuck doesn't live here anymore.....

I am willing and have some time.

Give me a call or email or message here what you think????
